Task 2

For Task 2 we need to write or find a 3000 words story to continue the task. Due to my laziness and time limitation, I decided to choose a story call 'About Love' by Anton Chekhov.

Figure1.2 Moodboard
After letting Mr.Vinod take a look at my mood board, luckily Mr.Vinod liked the Chinese calligraphy pretty much, so I decided to go that way.

First attempt:

However, when I have done my first attempt at visualization, Mr.Vinod say that my visualization was too aggressive for my topic "About Love', therefore I started to add in the color and done all the sketches.

Feedbacks:

Week 2: Copyright must be added, as well as the author's name. Before the imprint, the first line (student projects, no commercial profit). There are three subtexts and one pullquote in each chapter.

Week 3: Its ok with the Chinese calligraphy

Week 4: -

Week 5: Visualization was too aggressive try to change another color

Reflection:

Experience:  It's been a hard project because all of our programs have switched from exercises to projects, doubling our workload and putting a strain on our physical and emotional health.

Observation: I observed that time management in this project was very important, we need to keep ourselves in the way. Many keys to publishing a book were very important, we need to pay attention when we doing the job we have to done.

Findings: Even though Mr.Vinod teach very well, sometimes I'm still keep struggling of how the idea can relate to the message i wanted to convey in the story.

Futher reading:

Graphic design has grown over the previous two centuries from a black-and-white skill for books and broadsheets to a full-color craft for analog and digital media and all types of substrates. Controlling and successfully utilizing color to aid communication is now more crucial than ever.

Mechanical, organic, and abstract forms are the three types of shapes used in graphic design. Mechanical forms are often geometrical in nature, with sharp edges and corners. They're employed to give a design more structure and solidity. In design, organic forms are those that resemble the natural environment. They might have roughness or rounded edges to give them a more natural appearance. Abstract forms are a type of irregular shape that may be utilised in design to provide meaning or diversity.
