Third logo Attempt:

The third logo was my favorite one, therefore I decided to go with this one.

Figure5.1.1 Progression

At the first I was trying to follow the grid system of the logo design, however when I came out I feel like something missing in my logo and also the logo was to boring as a logo.

After I struggling with the rules, I started to think about breaking the rules. So I just simply trace it out the logo with my sketch and I just realize that was actually very good for me.

After that, I try to pair a lot of typeface with my logo to choose which typeface was the best option.

Reflection:

Experience
I utilized logos that I see all the time for task 2A. We had plenty of time to accomplish this job because we had to analyze 28 logos. Because this was my first time analyzing logos, I wasn't sure whether my technique was accurate, but I tried my best to explain the logos that I had chosen.
This assignment 2B I took a long time since we followed a process that started with completing research on what sort of business we wanted to start, then creating mind maps to better comprehend and find inspiration for the logo, and then sketching out the many concepts we had.

Observation
When analysing a logo and developing one yourself, the overall observation for job 2 is that there is a lot of attention to detail. I realised how much research goes into making a logo and how even the tiniest tweak in a logo may cause it to deviate from its intended meaning.

Findings
I noticed that the more sketches I did and the more concepts I laid out in my head, the better my approach for developing the final logo would be. I incorporated components from a few concepts into the final concept. In terms of assignment 2A, I realised that I learned a lot about the many forms of logos for different types of businesses. Some logos are complicated yet still functional, while others are straightforward.
