Week 5

Upon the completion of the research, data collection, participation in all class lectures and tutorials, presentation of a complete proposal, and research data, students are to produce visual design outcomes related to their interpretation of the given theme.

Utilizing the data collected from the research trip, we need to produce visual design outcomes that reflect their interpretation and definition of “Purpose”, bearing in mind to consider cultural and aesthetic aspects, balanced with their design knowledge. Various directions and approaches can be engaged in, such as experimental design/art with the use of manual/digital or a combination of both media.

Week 6

In week 6, we started to do some discussion in zoom meeting and type it out into google docs.

Week 7
Week 7 was the final week to let us finalize everything and we need to state record our presentation video.

Reflection:

Experience
Trough out this whole journey of intercultural design, our team really did our best to bring out the message that we wanted to convey. The process of learning the culture was the biggest gift of this project. I never thought street art culture was such a huge thing to learn and to present.

Observation

For this whole project, we did a lot of observation to gain ideas. Our topic was street art culture, therefore we need to do a lot of research about street art.

Findings

Since we only have 7 weeks to complete the task, we have some struggle time such as we was hard to manage our time to do a meeting but we all solved it very well.
