Proposal

Week 1:

The general theme is “Purpose”. In our group, select a particular culture in society and

brainstorm to identify an area of interest you wish to highlight or bring awareness/attention to that culture.

•  Conduct some research about the culture and the specific area we have identified.
•  Produce some preliminary ideas on how we will apply our knowledge and creativity in design to communicate our message to an audience. Each idea is to be supported by a short rationale. Conduct visual research to help expand our idea generation.

For this project, a deck presentation of the proposal that contains:

• A 200-word rationale defining and interpreting the theme in relation to the culture and area of interest. Citation is necessary as evidence to the research.
• A minimum of 5 preliminary ideas in detailed sketches, each with a rationale.
• Visual references (visuals that inspire/influence those ideas).
• Reference list
• Picture credits

The theme that we have chosen for this project was ' Street Art culture'.

For this week's class, we generally Discuss what culture we gonna choose in the Whatapps group and vote for it.

Week 2:

For this week, we started to come out with a rough proposal in google docs.

Week 3:

After we confirm all the information and ideas of our proposal we started to move our workplace from google docs to google slide to have a better slide experience.

Feedbacks:

Week 2:

General Feedback: Make sure after submitting the presentation video, update and upload the video to our own blog as well. Specific Feedback: All the ideas are good, need to discuss and think about the purpose of doing these.

Week 3:

General Feedback: Turn on the camera when recording the presentation, for the presentation slides, don't forget to add "content" in the slides. Specific Feedback: For the Research Objective & Research Question put one enough and need to rephrase the sentence. For our furniture idea, we need to think about what it symbolizes.
