Advanced Typography Task 3
With the knowledge and experience gained in the Exercises, Project 1 and 2, with the accumulated knowledge from the lectures and your own reading (library books and online sources), with the experience gained in the different software covered in the program thus far, synthesize and apply the
learning in the tasks to be mentioned, allow the knowledge gained guide and inform your decisions for the effective execution of your final project. Develop a font that is intended to solve a larger problem or
meant to be part of a solution in the area of your interest be it graphic design, animation, new media or entertainment design or any other related area not necessarily reflecting your specialization.

For week 10, Mr. Vinod wants us to prepare the proposal about what we gonna do for our final task.
For the idea, I prepare 3 proposals to continue with.
The first and second idea was create a modern fiction film that inspired by movie'NEON' and 'DUNE'. The third was continue my task 1 typeface but due to my own curiosity I decided to combine idea 1 and 2 together.

Figure3.1.1 Came out all the uppercase letter
The reason why I just did an uppercase letter was that in this task I only need an uppercase letter to do it.
At the start of this assignment, I keep struggling in some complicated letter such as letter 'S'.

Letter X and letter W were the most interesting letter that I made I think.
For letter'S' Mr.Vinod suggest me to take a look at a Netflix movie called 'Abstract'(S2, Last episode).

After I finalized all the letters in Adobe Illustrator, I switch to Fontlab to do some adjustments.

Collateral:
For the collateral, I created a poster, Thermos cup, T-shirt, popcorn box, and skateboard. The reason why I create Thermos cups, T-shirts,s, and skateboards is just because I wanna create something that can convey the meaning that was playful to the audience.

However, Mr.Vinod tell me that maybe my application was not too related to my typeface, therefore I decided to add some new collateral into it.

Week 10:
I Didn't attend class due to being uncomfortable.
Week 11:
Go watch Netflix movie'Abstract' to have a better understanding of letter 'S'
Week 12:
No comment for this week. Because I slept over and the section was over( I'm sorry).
Experience:
Overall from this task experience was quite excited me because Mr.Vinod gave us a lot of space to let us explore ourselves. The most fun part was when i used the font that i create and came out the poster i feel it quite fit into it and I feel so happy with it. It was quite a struggle because I can't generate the font at first, but luckily it came out well.
Observation:
As usual, though this whole process I feel that my classmate was actually awesome. Their work was really stunning and inspired me. For the typeface, I have done much research but I found out the reference was lacking, therefore i try my best to create a new one.
Findings:
After this task, I need to concentrate on how I gonna pass a message in my own design and how to gonna make the audience/ client more satisfied with it.
