Week 1
In the first week of the whole semester Video and Sound Production class, we were introduced to what we going to do this semester. Mr.Martin simply brief it and started to teach us about our first chapter which was ' Audio editing exercise'.
We were assigned to create two editing exercises by ourselves. The first one was Mr.Martin teach us to step by step and already arranged, but the second one we need to arrange ourselves and edit with the right step.
Week 2
In week 2, we learned about Cinematography, shot size determines how large the area that's visible within the frame.
-Extreme wide shot (E.W.S)
shows a broad view of the surroundings around the character and conveys scale, distance, and geographical location.

-Wide Shot (W.S)
incudes the entire subject and important objects in the immediate surroundings.
-Medium wide shot (M.W.S)
shows a character usually cut off across the legs above or below the knees.
-Medium shot (M.S)
shows the subject that are important to understanding.
-Medium close-up shot (M.C.U)
films subject character from approximately midway between waist and shoulders to above the head.
-Over the shoulder shot (O.S)
shows the subject from behind the shoulder of another person.
-Close-up shot (C.U)
used to isolate the most important part of the subject.
- Extreme close-up shot (E.C.U)
single out a portion of the face magnifies a detail.
Week 3:
In week 3 we learned about storytelling in films
-Narrative
Chain of events in cause-effect relationship occurring in time and space
-Story and plot
- Story- The set of all the events in a narrative, both the ones explicitly presented and those the viewer infers, constitutes the story.
- Plot- Everything visibly and audibly present in the film, and material that is extraneous to the story world.

Week 2:
In the first exercise of week 2, we were assigned to shot those required shots which are Wide shot, Frontal MCU, Frontal MS, Extreme Close-Up shot, Close-Up shot, Profile MS, ¾ angling MCU shot, Over-The-Shoulder MCU shot and Eye-Level Medium-Wide shot within 5 seconds per shot in landscape format. Edit it in Premium Pro and add a caption for every shot. But due to some reason, I change it to the 8 different basic of cinematography.

Week 3:
In week 3, Mr.Martin assigned us to do a new video shooting practice. Different from the last exercise, this time we have to cooperate with the other 2 members of our class. We have to shoot:
Wide Shot - high angle (You, Solo)
3 single full body shots - eye level (You at the middle)Medium Shot - Eye level (You)
Medium Close-up Shot - Eye level (You)
Close-up Shot - Eye level (You)
Extreme Close-up Shot - Eye level (You)
Wide Shot - Low angle (You, Solo)
