Project 3: Webtoon and motion comics

In this new task, we were assigned to create a  one-shot Web Toon short with the premise of a feel-good narrative of your own creation. Consider 3-act structures but with interesting twists and plots. It can be

wordless and presented only with illustrations, or it can be detailed with stories, filled with speeches and texts.

Before I start, I was very confused about what comics look like because I have only experienced comics in my childhood moment. Therefore, I did some research and try to make it clear in my mind.

Story: TIME

A friendship between a dog named Leo and a cat named Cassey. Leo is a dog that always full of warmth and love to stick with Cassey and his owner but Cassey is a cat that very calm except their owner. Cassey hates to befriend Leo because Leo love to take away their owner's attention but day after day Cassey also accepts it slowly. One day Cassey wake up from a nap and founded out Leo and their owner disappear in the house and Cassy didn't surprised it because the owner always take Leo to a walk. When the owner comeback with tears, Cassey wanted to play with Leo but She didn't saw Leo come back with the owner and wondering why so she keeps waiting and waiting and one day she finally saw Leo but Leo just sitting quietly and smile at Cassey. Cassey asks Leo what he smiling at her and why he so long didn't come back home. Leo didn't say anything and keep smiling. Suddenly, Cassey realizes what just happen in these few days. Cassey started to begging Leo not to go but it was too late.

Progression:
After i made decided my idea i started to sketch out in Adobe Illustartor and do it one by one

After making the comic episodes and thumbnails, I published my first comic on WebToon.

Following the completion of the comic, the final stage in this project was to begin the animation process. This was a challenge for me because I didn't think about the animation process when I was creating the comic.

Reflection:
To be honest this kind of work I will never try again in my life because of my suck illustration skill ( just kidding). I still really appreciate the opportunity that has been given, it was fun overall but stressful too. If I have a chance to do it again I'll be more concentrated on what can I improve in this work and how to improve.
