Color theory:
Colour theory is both the science and art of using color. It explains how humans perceive color; and the colors of the message communicate artistically and emotionally.
RGB:
RGB color is used to display on your computer screen.
CMYK:
Cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK) are the primary colors of printing.
Figure1.1 CMYK VS RGB
Hue, shade, tint and tone:
- Hue is the most basic of color terms and denotes an object’s color.
- Shade is a hue to which black has been added. For example, red + black = burgundy.
Figure1.2 Different between hue and Shade- Tint is a hue to which white has been added. For example, red + white = pink.
- Tone is a color to which black and white (or grey) have been added.Figure1.3 Different between Tone and Tint
Colour Harmony:
Figure1.4 Example of colour harmony
Monochromatic:
Monochromatic is hard to make a mistake and create a distasteful color scheme.
Analogous:
Analogous are 3 colors located right next to each other on the color wheel.
Figure1.5 example of 3 color side by sideComplementary:Complementary colors are opposites on the color wheel. This scheme is opposite to analogous and monochromatic since it aims to produce high contrast.
Figure1.6 Example of two color oppositeSplit-Complementary:Split-Complementary involves the use of three colors. Start with one color, find its complement and then use the two colors on either side of it.
Figure1.7 Example of Spilt complementary colorTriadic:Triadic colors are evenly spaced around the color wheel and tend to be very bright and dynamic.
Figure1.8 Example of 3 color equally spaced around the weel
The Psychology of Color:
While perceptions of color are somewhat subjective, some effects have universal meaning.

Tutorial:
In this week's tutorial, we have learned about how to apply color to a black and white picture.
For a example, Hair and skin.
Practical: Recoloring black and white.
EXERCISE 1
Reflection: Figure1.1 all picture that given for this exercise

This exercise was fun I'm really enjoying the progress and after the final outcome came out. I think for this exercise I have learned different basis of recoloring.
