Lectures: SYMBOL, IMAGERY, and TYPOGRAPHY
For this week's lecture that pre-recorded by Dr. Jinchi, we learned about the basics of design principles as know as symbols, imagery, and typography.
SYMBOLS: Symbols used to represent something, also in the lecture we learned about the details of symbols.
- Pictorial symbols- image related and simplified pictures
- Abstract symbols- looks a same with the object but lack of details
- Arbitrary symbols- Mostly based on geometric shapes and colors.

Imagery: to let users/ viewers are able to relate to a concept or a brand if the right images are used in a work of design.
Typography: typography is the design and arrangement of text to convey a message or concept.

In this new exercise, we were assigned to do 2 two-part of work one is the arbitrary symbols and also the combination of imagery and typography.
